Royal Sydney Golf Club’s eastern-suburbs course underwent a major redevelopment, and the irrigation network had to be modernised without shutting the course down. The project team worked to a tight construction schedule, through coastal, saline soil, and with restricted access across a live golf course — all while upsizing pipe diameter from 63mm to 90mm to support the new design.
Superintendent Adam Marchant and irrigation contractor Gosford Irrigation needed a system that was cost-effective, low-maintenance, and built to last — one that could also deliver a genuine environmental win.
